PA | The Pennsylvania Surplus Lines Association today issued a bulletin explaining how the state’s Insurance Data Security Act will impact participants in the non-admitted market. The law will not take effect until December 11, 2023. Non-admitted insurers do not fall under the authority of the Act, but licensed individuals and entities do.
The Pennsylvania Department of Insurance has created a dedicated webpage to help licensees comply with the Act.
