Colorado Amends Three Insurance Regulations

Oklahoma Eliminates Earthquake CE Requirement

OK | The Oklahoma Insurance Department today issued Bulletin No. 5-2023. It announces that the Department no longer requires the one-hour earthquake CE credit for licensees with the property line of authority. The change takes effect on September 1, 2023. Licensees applying for renewals prior to that date must complete the earthquake course requirements.

Colorado Adopts Additional Emergency Regulation to Deal with Friday Health Plan

CO | The Colorado Division of Insurance today announced the adoption of Emergency Regulation 23-3-06. The regulation reminds carriers to maintain current insurance producer commission schedules when enrolling individuals in new health benefit plans during a special enrollment period (“SEP”).
