HI | The Hawaii Insurance Division today issued Memorandum 2023-3A. It encourages insurers to work with policyholders impacted by the wildfires in Hawaii and Maui Counties. Specific requests include:
- Offering a grace period for premium payments
- Offering structured payment plans for late premium payments
- Waiving late fees and penalties
- Extending timeframes for inspections and medical examinations
