TX| Texas Department of Insurance Commissioner’s Bulletin #B-0004-26 is a mandatory data call directed to all insurers licensed to write property and casualty insurance in Texas, requiring them to report calendar year 2025 “disallowed expenses” (as defined in Insurance Code Section 2251.002(1-a)) for the January 1–December 31, 2025 reporting period under Insurance Code Chapter 2251, Subchapters A and B. The call applies to any licensed company that wrote premium in 2025 in specified lines—including fire, allied lines, private crop, farm owners multiple peril, homeowners multiple peril, commercial multiple peril, inland marine, medical malpractice, general liability, products liability, private passenger and commercial automobile, fidelity, or surety—and submissions are due no later than July 24, 2026. Companies must complete the provided Excel reporting form and email it (with the file name as the subject line) along with a signed and notarized affidavit to DataCall@tdi.texas.gov, using the naming convention “GRP # DER2025.xlsx” for group filings or “GRP 0 [five-digit NAIC number] DER2025.xlsx” for individual company filings.
