Colorado Withdraws Two COVID-19 Emergency Regulations

CO | The Colorado Division of Insurance today announced the withdrawal of two emergency regulations implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Click on the links below to read each announcement.

  • Emergency Regulation 22-E-18 concerned coverage and reimbursement for the transfer of covered persons between facilities and treatment of covered persons at a receiving facility during the COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses disaster recovery.
  • Emergency Regulation 22-E-19 concerned the suspension of utilization review requirements for transfers or discharges from hospitals as a result of COVID-19, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Influenza, and other respiratory illnesses.

The regulations are withdrawn effective January 8, 2023.
