Colorado Amends Requirements for ACA-Compliant Health Benefit Plans, Addresses COVID-19 Care Coverage

CO | The Colorado Division of Insurance today announced the amendment of two regulations concerning ACA-compliant health benefit plans. Click on the links below to read each regulation in full.

  • Amended Regulation 4-2-55 establishes standards and reporting requirements for ACA-compliant health benefit plan provider directories.
  • Amended Regulation 4-2-57 explains network adequacy standards and reporting requirements for ACA-compliant stand-alone dental managed care plans.

Both these regulations take effect on July 15, 2023.

The Division also adopted Bulletin No. B-4.132. It provides guidance for offering insurance coverage for COVID-19 vaccines now that the federal public health emergency is over. The bulletin was adopted on May 22, 2023.
