HI| The Hawaii Insurance Division has updated their list of reinsurers that have satisfied Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 431-4A and Hawaii Administrative Rules Chapter 168 requirements to qualify and maintain status as reciprocal reinsurers, along with their associated alien numbers. It explains that the Insurance Commissioner must publish a list of reciprocal jurisdictions, which includes non‑U.S. jurisdictions with an in‑force covered agreement with the U.S. and U.S. jurisdictions accredited under the NAIC financial standards and accreditation program, and notes that Hawaii also recognizes jurisdictions appearing on the NAIC List of Reciprocal Jurisdictions.
