DE | The Delaware Department of Insurance today re-issued Universally Applicable Bulletin No. 1. It warns anyone engaged in the insurance business with its jurisdiction against making “untrue, deceptive, or misleading” representations concerning how insurance rates are set. The bulletin reviews the proper procedure for producers to obtain accurate information about premium increases and the regulatory penalties for failure to comply.
