Oregon Addresses Impacts on Healthcare Coverage After the Federal Public Health Emergency

OR | The Oregon Division of Financial Regulation today issued Bulletin No. DFR 2023-1. It informs insurers and producers about the Division’s expectations for responses to the end of the federal COVID-19 public health emergency. The bulletin specifically addresses:

  • Coverage of COVID-19 vaccines, testing, treatment, and telehealth services
  • The end of the Oregon Health Plan’s continuous Medicaid enrollment period
  • Medicare Supplement Insurance Guaranteed Issue protections for people whose Medicaid is terminated due to the end of the Medicaid continuous coverage requirement
