New York Reduces Affidavit Declination Reporting Requirements

NY | The Excess Line Association of New York (ELANY) today issued Bulletin No. 2023-03. Effective immediately, licensees are no longer required to report the following information on declination affidavits:

  • Affiliation of Representative
  • Name of Representative Declining Risk
  • Reason for Declination

ELANY is currently working to revise the Part A and Part C affidavit forms.

NOTE: Declinations and affidavits must still be filed with ELANY, and all other affidavit information and reporting elements must continue to be completed.
