Louisiana Expands Living Expense Coverage

LA | The Louisiana Department of Insurance today issued Directive 220. This directive requires property and casualty and surplus lines insurers issuing homeowners policies in the state to expand their coverage of living expenses for insureds who have suffered a total loss.

The requirement also applies to existing policies, which must be amended accordingly.
