SC| The South Carolina Department of Insurance issued Bulletin 2025-09 to inform insurers and HMOs about the annual adjustment to the maximum benefit for behavioral therapy coverage for autism spectrum disorder, as required by state law (Section 38-71-280). Starting January 1, 2026, the maximum annual benefit will increase to $73,400 to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index, up from the previous $50,000 cap.
