Indiana Declares Policy Cancellation Moratorium Following Tornadoes, Severe Weather

IN | In response to recent severe storms, the Indiana Department of Insurance today issued Bulletin 268. It imposes a 60-day moratorium on the cancellation of any insurance policies for non-payment of premiums for policyholders in the affected areas . Insurers also may not assess penalties for late payment of premiums.
