PA | On November 1, 2023, Governor Josh Shapiro signed Act 22 (P.L. 154, No. 22) into law. Section 1.1 of Act 22 establishes the Flood Insurance Premium Assistance Task Force (Task Force) to review and analyze existing statutes, procedures, practices, processes and rules relating to the administration of flood insurance in this Commonwealth. The goal of the Task Force is to provide a report containing recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly to increase flood insurance awareness, accessibility and affordability.
