NC| This Bulletin No. 26-B-04 notifies all property and casualty insurers writing homeowners coverage in North Carolina that, under NCGS §58-45-71, each member company of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association must submit an annual 2025 Homeowners report on their homeowners policy writings, including wind and hail, in the beach and coastal areas, but only if they have data to report. The required data call, provided by the North Carolina Department of Insurance, must be completed using the specified Excel file (which may only be altered to input data) and submitted to NCDOI no later than April 1, 2026, with non?submission by that date placing the company out of compliance and subject to potential regulatory penalty.
