HI | Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Insurance Division has issued Memorandum 2023-7A.
This Memorandum clarifies the Insurance Commissioner’s Memorandum 2023-3A, issued on August 16, 2023, in which the Insurance Commissioner encouraged insurers selling insurance coverage in the State for all lines of insurance to be mindful of the residents who have lost their homes, businesses and employment due to the wildfires. The Insurance Commissioner appreciates the efforts of insurers who provided relief to policy holders impacted by the August 8, 2023 wildfires.
