Georgia Issues Bulletin Regarding Emergency Disaster Adjusters

GA | The Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Fire Safety has issued Bulletin 24-EX-8.

On September 24, 2024, Governor Brian Kemp issued a State of Emergency for a number of Georgia counties due to potential effects caused by Hurricane Helene.

In the event of a declared disaster or catastrophe, an insurer, or employer who is a licensed adjuster in the state of Georgia or is a regular employer of insurance adjusters in the state of Georgia may request emergency disaster adjuster status for Georgia Registered Staff Adjusters, Out-of-State Staff Adjusters, or Out-of-State Licensees.
