| As we release this newsletter, preparations are underway for this year's 2010 Innovation Summit in Qingdao, China. This exciting weeklong adventure begins with arrival in Qingdao on September 19th and runs through September 25th.
This trip is a unique opportunity for a limited number of ReSource Pro clients to:
- Meet, watch, and interact with your team members in China, further developing your personal relationship and deepening your understanding of their commitment to the workflow efficiency and profitability of your organization.
- Participate in thought-provoking, cutting edge Innovation Day workshops on How to Prepare for the Next Economic Upswing, covering a wide array of topics ranging from how to best manage your staff, technology, and resources to focusing on core competencies, learning and development, recruiting, and quality assurance.
Additionally, arrangements have been made to visit and tour both Qingdao and Jinan, with day trips to Lao Shan Mountain and Qu Fu.
Aside from workshops, tours, and entertainment, attendees will have a chance to develop long-lasting relationships with like-minded, highly resourceful, and forward-thinking peers within the insurance industry. In other words, people like you. And, based on reactions from participants in the 2008 Innovation Summit, we anticipate this 2010 Innovation Summit to become a memorable highlight for everyone who joins us. In order to encourage intimacy and relationship building, space is limited and we strongly suggest early reservations. For more information on the trip, the pricing, and registration, simply go to 2010 Innovation Summit.
In today's newsletter, as we continue to introduce members of our ReSource Pro staff, you'll be meeting Matthew Bruno, who founded our China office and serves as Managing Director of Operations. In our continuing efforts to provide our partners with critical management tools, we have also included a summary of our last Innovation Advisory Council meeting workshop on ˇ°Quality: Your Passport to Improved Profitabilityˇ±.
Since the only constant in business today, there's an opinion piece from your editor, entitled "The Change Factor: Arbiter of Success", which highlights the process of "systems thinking" and how that methodology helped turn around a major insurance carrier, as well as an anecdotal review of the change efforts within a mid-sized commercial lines agency.
Finally, since all good things bear repeating - and we have a considerable number of new clients that have joined our ReSource Pro family over the last 18 months, we have also included a white paper from 2009 entitled "Are Your Structured for Maximum Growth", which details the LEAN techniques and incorporates lessons that we have learned here at ReSource Pro in the implementation and refinement of this management process.
As always, please feel free to send copies of the newsletter on to friends that might benefit from the articles, and register the e-mail addresses of any people within your organization that would like to receive future newsletters.
Since this newsletter is for you, we invite you to contribute articles that you would like to share with the community about productivity improvements or implementation of other innovations since working with ReSource Pro. We also appreciate your comments, requests, suggested topics, and even criticism, so that we can best match the newsletter to your needs and desires. Just e-mail them to editor@resourcepro.com.
